**Supreme Court of Pakistan** has directed the restoration of the **LAW GAT** Test via HEC

Law Graduate Assessment Test (LAW-GAT)

As per the order of the Honorable Supreme court of Pakistan, the Law GAT test is mandatory before enrollment as an Advocate in Pakistan. Higher Education Commission (HEC) takes the Law GAT test three times per year. There are only three chances to clear the Law GAT test.

Special Equivalence Examination (SEE LAW)

The law graduates of foreign universities/institutions are required to pass the Special Equivalence Examination (SEE LAW) before enrollment as an Advocate in Pakistan. HEC takes the HEC SEE LAW test twice per year. There are only three chances to clear the HEC SEE LAW test.

How to pass HEC Law GAT or Special Equivalence Exam (SEE LAW)

Study law test subjects according to HEC Curriculum. The most authentic source of test preparation is the main law books called Bare Acts, which are available here.

Law GAT or SEE Law notes are prepared according to HEC test pattern. These notes may help in understanding the subject topic. For scoring more than 50, one needs to study from notes and Bare acts. I have prepared these notes keeping in mind HEC past paper questions and pattern. I recommend all of you to study these notes for better scoring.

Major reasons of student’s failure in Law GAT test

All students can easily pass Law GAT or SEE law but, still, there is a failure ratio and it is due to the following few common reasons which you can easily avoid:

1. No Knowledge of law GAT curriculum/syllabus;

2. No Knowledge of paper pattern;

3. Weak English (Graduates of Urdu medium);

4. Overconfidence;

5. Preparation from law GAT books having mistakes or irrelevant material;
